Chakra Alignment Meditation
Why focus on Chakras?
It is very important for any spiritual work that you align and balance your chakras. Charades are points in your body where spiritual energy is stored. They are aligned with your spirit, and help to power the connection between body and spirit, as well as aid in communication between these two bodies. A big step in opening yourself up to your spirit is cleansing, aligning, and energizing these bodies of spiritual energy to create a clear channel between you and your spirit. If you thing of your body as the vessel, these points are what connect your spirit to your vessel. The more pure, energized, and aligned they are, the clearer you will be able to hear the guidance of your spirit as well as balance your life.
I highly recommend that anyone who is attempting to do any kind of magickal or spiritual work, whether it be meditating, astral traveling, spell casting, mediumship, use this meditation to align themselves before beginning their work. Clear communication is important. Also, this exercise will help you to become aware of any imbalances in your bodies energy that may be affecting your chakras. Advantages of this are that you may be able to know you are becoming ill before you are, see where physical or mental strain is being placed on your body, and be able to control the energies of your chakras for special use.
Meditation
First find a comfortable place to sit, I do not recommend laying down because the orientation of the body can make visualization more difficult. You may sit however is comfortable for you, but do your best to sit with your back straight and your eyes about 10 degrees about level. Once you are seated you may close your eyes and begin visualization. You should feel free to light a candle or burn incense during this meditation. You may also pray after you have done the visualization as you will be very connected and will be able to feel your prayers being sent much more clearly.

When to give the chakras energy and when to take it away
There are many reasons that you should pay attention to you chakras. They can tell you a lot about your body, and your spirit, that you may not have known. They can also indicate where you need to focus attention mentally, or on certain problems in your life.
The first key in checking on your chakras is that you get in the habit of aligning them and checking them at least once daily. When you start to learn to visualize them, you will start to do it quickly and with ease. You will notice that the chakras usually form a similar size every time, and you may notice that some take longer than others to align, or that they easily become dislocated form the center of the body. Once you start to notice these patterns, its time to do something about it!!!
The Body: Chakra's are a balance between the bodies energy and the energy of spirit. If there is an illness in the body whether it be physical, mental, or otherwise, the chakras may be affected. An example would be that someone who is suffering from a stomach bug has their Solar Plexus Chakra moved to the left side of their body, and low on energy, and dull in color. This indicates sickness. Aligning this chakra and applying more energy to it will help them heal more quickly, thought this chakra will continue to become out of balance easily. A way to combat a chakra being misaligned is to imagine a bridge of energy coming from it to energize the affected area. This will allow the spirit to provide energy to the body to help heal the chakra, whereas if it is misaligned, the spirit cannot help.
The Mind: One's mental state can greatly affect the chakras. In fact, they are all associated with different personality traits when they are in deficit or excess of energy. If someone is depressed, manic, lethargic, overactive, passive, too strongly willed, etc. they can help find balance by adding energy to chakras that affect those traits. Most of the time if you are feeling a little off mentally and cant pin the reason down, one of your chakras needs some attention. Keep in mind that if chakras are in excess they will create over the top or bombastic versions of the aligned traits, and if they are in deficit they will be lacking in expression. Give and take energy from these chakras as you need it. Keep in mind that if you feel you are in a situation where you may need to have more or less of a trait, you can alter the energy in your chakras for that purpose. But, also keep in mind that altering them will alter the energy of your body as well so maintaining an overall balance is essential. At least if you do this, remember to put the energy back to normal at the earliest possible time.
The Spirit: If you are having problems connecting to the divine, or with feeling spiritual or happy, you may need to adjust chakras to get in tune. Doing visualization is the best way to align the chakras with your spirit, as well as adding a grounding and shielding meditation to your daily routine.
Make sure to pay attention to your chakras. They are the connection between your body and spirit, and play a big role in opening your third eye and balancing your life!!! Practice this meditation and watch your spirit connect with you in new ways!!!

- After you have closed your eyes, picture yourself in total darkness.
- Focus on breathing deeply in and out at a controlled rate.
- Feel the vastness of the universe around you, and as you look out into it in your minds eye, start to see the twinkling stars around you.
- Next imagine that there is a beam of pure white light that comes out from the stars above you and through the top of your head all the way down your spine and into the universe below you.
- Feel the energy of this light flowing through you and start to focus on absorbing the vibrations.
- Focus now on your Root Chakra, at the end of your spine. Imagine that it is a ball of red light. Try to feel where it is by how it responds to the pure white energy flowing through you. Let the white light pull the chakra into place and energize it. Imagine that it turns a brighter and more vibrant red until it is almost neon in color, and aligned with the stream of white light.
- Next move on to the other chakras in a similar way.
- First the Sacral Chakra, located at your pubic bone, or where you would imagine your bladder to be. The color of this chakra should be orange.
- Next the Solar Plexus Chakra, located on the level of the stomach. The color of this chakra should be yellow.
- Next the Heart Chakra, located at the level of the heart. The color of this chakra should be green.
- Next the Throat Chakra, located at the thyroid or Adam's apple. The color of this should be blue.
- Next the Third Eye Chakra, located in the center of the forehead between the eyebrows. The color of this chakra should be indigo.
- Next the Crown Chakra, located slightly above the head. The color of this chakra should be violet.
- After you have charged and aligned the chakras, check to see if any of them need attention. Ask yourself were any out of place? Were they hard to get back centered? Do you have a need to energize one more than the others? (NOTE: Scenarios of chakras that need attention are listed below)
- If you are satisfied with your alignment, imagine then that the chakras all begin to spin at the same rate and in the same direction and begin to shine brightly their colors with an aura of bright white. Imagine that this white light grows until it is covering your body and all you can see from a view behind your spiritual body is white, and the alignment of your chakras.
- When you are done, open your eyes.
- Sit for a minute or so and with sage, or with prayer dispense any of the negative energy you may have released during your meditation.
- Now that your chakras are aligned, you will notice a large difference in your outlook on life, the energy in your body, and the energy in any pursuits you endeavor throughout your day.
